who, why & how

who can run?

 
  • Full-time students who will be returning for the 2020/2021 academic year

  • Students must be at least 18-years-old before being in office

  • Students must have an overall passing GPA of 60% or higher with no more than one fail in the most recently completed semester

  • Must have no current offences under the College’s Student Behaviour Policy or the MSA Code of Ethics or expectations

  • Those running cannot have outstanding debt with the College or MSA

why should you run?

There are many great reasons why students should run for a Board of Director position. Here are just a few of them:

To advocate on behalf of fellow students.

To work as part of a team.

To develop professional and leadership skills.

Board members receive honorariums.

To share your knowledge and experience.

how to run:

If you are interested in running for an available position you must pick up or download a nomination package, fill out the required forms, get the required number of student signatures, then plan and execute your election campaign!

If elected, you will be in office from May 2020 to April, 30, 2021.
