Hamilton is home to countless delicious restaurants. There are so many noteworthy restaurants in fact that it’s hard to pinpoint the best – but we can try.

The MSA recently asked Mohawk students what their must-try food spots in Hamilton are. Here’s what they said:

Earth to Table Bread bar has a warm atmosphere with great service and outstanding pizza. There are two locations in Hamilton (Locke St and James St). And, to make the restaurant even better, all-you-can-eat brunch is available on Sunday’s for only $35.

For an authentic catina inspired dining experience, check out Mezcal. It is an authentic Mexican restaurant with 13 different types of tacos. Mezcal uses locally grown ingredients.

Be sure to try their churros for dessert!

Hambrgr

Hambrgr is arguably one of the best burger joints in the city. It’s reasonably priced, and offers classic burgers or unique ones – such as the Goodfella (loaded with pepperoni, arugula and garlic mushrooms) – for the more adventurous folk. Each week, Hambrgr features a chef special, creating a new burger for each location. Hambrgr uses a combination of locally sourced ingredients and offers a variety of craft beer options.

Born and Raised

Born and raised is a popular Italian restaurant, owned by Top Chef finalist Vittorio Colacitti. All the bread and pastas are made in house, and pizzas are baked in a woodfire oven with the finest ingredients!

Berkley North

Berkley North is a contemporary restaurant highly praised for their hand-crafted cocktails and excellent customer service. This west coast inspired restaurant is known for their delicious plates that taste incredibly fresh. Shrimp Tempura, Fresh Pasta, and Mushroom Dumplings are just a few of the dinner options at Berkley North.

Motel

Motel serves up basic brunch food … but with a flavorful twist. This Miami-inspired restaurant is fabulously decorated with neon signs and blush pink walls. It’s one of the most Instagram-able spots in the city. The restaurant is known for its famous signature cocktails and champagne pancakes that are sprinkled in gold flakes.

What are your must-try restaurants in the city?
