I Don't Have a Presto Card 🙃
If you have misplaced your PRESTO card you will need to pay for a new one.
If you do not have a PRESTO card you can pick yours up once you’ve selected your timetable for the next semester at your respective Mohawk campus:
- Fennell Campus – MSA Office (room G109)
- Stoney Creek Campus – MSA Office (room A125)
- IAHS Campus – MSA Office (room 112)
Step 1: getting your voucher
- Select your timetable.
- Following this, an email, containing your voucher code, will be sent to your Mohawk email account. A copy of this code will also be posted on your MyMohawk account under the Campus Life tab (it may take up to four hours for the email with your code to be sent).
You will receive a new voucher code for each semester you are enrolled as a full-time student, however, you must keep your original PRESTO card.
Step 2: setting up your presto account
NOTE: You only need to set up your card when you first receive it. In the semesters following, you can simply redeem your voucher.- Go to the PRESTO website and click on “I’M NEW TO PRESTO”.
- Select “Create a new MY PRESTO account” fill in all the sections and remember your username and password.
- Once you’ve registered your card, click on “ADD AN EXISTING CARD” and fill in the information from the back of your PRESTO card.
Step 3: Redeem Your Voucher
- While logged into the PRESTO website, ensure you have your PRESTO card selected.
- Click on the ‘Load’ tab OR the menu on the top left under ‘My Products’.
- Select card in drop down, then ‘REDEEM VOUCHER’.
- Type in your voucher code and click ‘Submit’.
- Scroll down and select the card you want to add the VOUCHER to, and select ‘Next’.
- Agree to the terms and submit. You will need to wait 24 hours for your voucher to be active. Using your PRESTO card before the voucher has activated will result in a fare being charged to your account.
